Arekie was born from a craving for bold Latin and Indian street food that founders Sush and Monish Mansharamani loved while traveling — and couldn't find near home.
A name that tells the whole story
"Arekie" blends two iconic street foods: the AREpa (corn flour patty) and the franKIE (grilled Indian flatbread). Latin meets Indian, on the street, on your terms.

From food cart to three locations
What started as a food cart in Eugene grew into two Oregon locations and an international outpost in Selfoss, Iceland. Eugene Weekly called us a "Magic Cart" — Best of Eugene named us Best International Cuisine.
